Why patients travel

What brings Nigerian patients to India

  • Cardiac surgery and transplant capacity is limited at home, and waiting lists for donor work-up are long.
  • Oncology patients often need radiotherapy and chemotherapy in one continuous block rather than in interrupted cycles.
  • Package pricing in India is frequently a third to a half of the equivalent quote in Europe, on comparable accreditation.
