Editorial and medical review policy
How Healing by India content is written, clinically reviewed, sourced and corrected — and the commercial relationships you should know about when reading it.
Why this policy exists
Everything published here concerns health and money, which means an inaccurate page can cause real harm. We therefore treat the site as health content subject to clinical review, not as marketing copy.
This page sets out who writes our content, who checks it, how often it is re-checked, where the cost figures come from and how we handle corrections. If you believe something on this site is wrong, we want to hear about it.
Who writes and who reviews
Drafting is done by our editorial team, who are writers and not clinicians. Every page that explains a condition, a procedure, a risk or a recovery timeline is then reviewed by a medical reviewer with relevant clinical qualifications before it goes live.
The reviewer's name and the date of last review appear on the page itself. A page with clinical content and no reviewer byline should not exist on this site; if you find one, treat it as unreviewed and tell us.
Where cost figures come from
Cost ranges are collated from package estimates issued by the accredited hospitals we work with, expressed in US dollars and rounded. They reflect the standard room category and the stated number of ICU and ward days.
Comparative figures for other countries are drawn from published private-payer price ranges and are included to give order-of-magnitude context, not to price a specific hospital abroad. No figure on this site is a quotation. Your own estimate is issued by the hospital after a doctor has reviewed your reports.
Review cycle
Cost guides are re-reviewed at least every twelve months, and immediately when a hospital revises its package pricing, when a clinical protocol changes materially, or when a reader raises a substantive objection.
Hospital and doctor pages are only published once the underlying credentials, accreditations and registration details have been verified against primary sources. Until then they carry a placeholder notice and are excluded from search engines.
Advertising, sponsorship and independence
We do not sell advertising space, sponsored placement or paid rankings on this site. Hospitals cannot buy a higher position, a better description or the removal of a caveat.
We are remunerated by partner hospitals under standard facilitation arrangements. That relationship is disclosed here deliberately, because it is the main potential conflict of interest a reader should weigh. Patient-facing pricing is the hospital's own and we do not add a mark-up.
What this site is not
Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation or a substitute for consulting a qualified doctor. Do not delay seeking care because of something you read on this site, and do not stop or change prescribed treatment based on it.
If you have symptoms that may be an emergency, contact your local emergency services or attend a hospital immediately.
Corrections
Email care@carebridge.health with the page URL and what you believe is inaccurate. Substantive corrections to clinical content are made after reviewer sign-off and the review date on the page is updated so readers can see it changed.
