Brain Tumour Surgery cost in India
Accredited hospitals in India quote $5,800 – $12,500 as an inpatient package for this procedure. Where you sit in that band depends on the hospital, the surgeon, the implant or drug protocol and the room category you choose.
| Country | Indicative package range (USD) | Versus India |

| Turkey | $14,000 – $25,000 | |
| United Arab Emirates | $35,000 – $60,000 | |

| United States | $60,000 – $150,000 |
What the procedure involves
Brain tumour surgery aims to remove as much tumour as can be taken safely without causing new neurological deficit. Modern Indian neuro centres use neuronavigation, intraoperative neuromonitoring and, where the tumour sits near speech or motor areas, awake craniotomy so function can be tested during the operation.
The most important thing to understand before travelling is that the diagnosis is often not final until the tissue is examined. A pre-operative MRI gives a probable diagnosis; the histopathology and molecular markers, available seven to ten days after surgery, determine whether radiotherapy or chemotherapy follows and what the outlook actually is. Plan your stay so you receive that report before flying home.
